Sunset Meadow

12x16 Oil on linen

This is a painting I've wanted to do for such a long time. It is
a beautiful place in McCall Idaho, Ponderosa Campground. A few years ago we went camping with my son's family and this meadow brings sweet memories of riding my bicycle with my granddaughters in the evenings and early mornings. Every time we passed this meadow I was captivated with it's simple beauty.

Have a beautiful day!

Am loving this painting..You are getting so good with the lighting and of course the trees stand right out...Very comforting and peaceful..

Thank you Susie!!! I am sure trying to study this sort of lighting effect and it does my heart good to hear that I'm able to grab those emotions.

NICE! I wasn't expecting a new blog though. I wish we were in this meadow painting....without the snow and cold that is probably there now.

Thanks Yvonne. Me too, wish we could be out painting in this spot, I am still enjoying the snow for a time.
