Yupo Paper Experiment

7x11 Oil on Yupo Paper

This was a fun experiment this morning! I had some leftover paint and a piece of Yupo paper laying around that I had played with before using watercolors (they just wipe right off of this slick surface). So I decided I needed some loosin-ing up before getting into anything serious today. What do you think of my experiment? Oh, almost forgot......it is also done with the knifes....but you could probably tell that by now and a simple composition off the top of my head!

Sometimes we just have to throw caution to the wind!

Last Thursday Susie wanted to try her hand in oil painting again......we thought

it might be a little easier for her if we painted the same thing so she could see some of my techniques. We had a blast and both paintings turned out very good!
