Lamoille in the Fall

18x24 Oil Palette Knife painting
SOLD
Details
You asked for it! A palette knife painting....Whew,... do
you know how long it has been since I did a total
knife landscape? Hmmmm, at least 16 years ago,
probably longer but I failed to date the last
one I did and cannot really remember.

I enjoyed the challenge and loved the freedom of this
style of painting. Very satisfying when you backup
and see that the blob of paint you just put on
actually does look like a tree!
Thanks for Visiting!

What a terrific painting...Any of us that know this canyon recognize it immediately...It's hard for me to imagine a palette knife was used for the whole painting...BUT I have seen the one you did before and am convinced of your talent... Beautiful Painting...

I signed it with a brush....after it was tacky dry....other than that I SOULUMELY SWEAR it was ALL done with a knife....even when I had to scrape off and redo the composition!LOL maybe one day we will do a knife painting together SUS, I think you'd enjoy it.

VERY NICE Kathy. Palette knife is definitely one of your strengths. This is a large painting too!
