Ruby Mountains Nevada Watercolor Study

5x7 Watercolor
If your interested in this painting please contact me, Kathryn@anaturalframe.com

This is a small watercolor study of a beautiful spot in the Ruby Mountains. We have camped out here a few times early in the spring. Not far from this spot is a gorgeous waterfall.......but you have to be ready for a bit of a hike to enjoy it. This study is in preparation for a larger Oil painting, so I hope you keep my blog handy for viewing!

Thanks for your visit and have a Beautiful day!

Mary Hunter Austin once wrote that the best time to be in the mountains is whenever one has the longest leave to stay. There is a special "magic", if you will, about the Ruby Mountains. It's clear that the artist has spent enough time there to capture the spirit of this beatiful place.
